So, what is this Preventative Care Package (PCP) anyway? Why is it a good idea for me to get it?
Good questions, so let me tell you about it in a nutshell. Basically what we did is determine the preventative medical procedures that your pet would need in one year of its life. We broke down the costs of the procedures and came up with a total cost of preventative care for one year. We then discounted the total cost and are offering the discounted price to you. Each plan is different depending on the age of your animal, so be sure to carefully check the plan for your pet’s age. Signing up for a plan gives you several benefits. First, you are getting a significant savings on these procedures. Second, you can bring your pet in as many times as they need for an exam at no charge. Third, our payment options allow you to spread out the cost of expensive procedures rather than having to pay several large bills all at once. Fourth, there is a 5% discount on procedures and products not covered by the PCP.
How do I pay for it?
The full price of the plan is due up front; however, we do offer Care Credit as a payment option. Care Credit gives you the option of a 6 month, no interest plan. You can apply in person at the clinic or online at www.carecredit.com.
If I sign up for a PCP, all my visits will be free, right?
A PCP is not an insurance policy. The office exam will be free every time you come in, but medications and procedures not covered by the plan will be your responsibility. However, all products and procedures are discounted 5%.
What things aren’t covered by a PCP?
Please look carefully at the list of items and procedures covered for your pet. The only thing that is not covered by the 5% discount is services provided by our groomer.
Is the PCP refundable?
No, the PCP is not refundable or transferable to another pet.
